Caramel Crunch Fingers: Recipe

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cornflakes
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • pinch salt

Method:

Mix all the above ingredients add 5 oz melted butter. Press into sponge roll tin. Bake 10-20 minutes 350 deg F.

Icing:


  • 3 oz butter
  • 1 desert spoon golden syrup
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 desert spoon condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoons brown sugar

Yeh - they come from all over the globe - like Kiwi's do. Yes also - expect some imperial measurements as I've transcribed them from a hand written book.
