Fancy something limited edition and extremely rare?
The world's southern most whisky distillery opened in Dunedin in the late 1960's. The Willowbank distillery first produced two blended whiskies, Wilson's & 45 South. In 1984, the distillery produced a single malt branded Lammerlaw, named after its water source in the Lammermoor hills outside Dunedin.
Production ceased in 1997 and the distillery was dismantled in 1999. The New Zealand Malt Whisky Company then secured the remaining whisky stocks, still ageing in barrels. The Milford & Prestons brands were created to showcase these fine, limited edition whiskys.
