Look you never here much about New Zealand's kawakawa - but man it is so tasty.
Here is a simple lamb casserole recipe using kawakawa.
750 grams lean diced lamb
6 kawakawa leaves
1 sprig of rosemary
1 dash of port
First flour and brown the lamb pieces
Put the lamb aside (into small casserole dish)
Add the rosemary
De glace the onions with port of some water
Add to casserole dish (the lamb should be covered by the juice)
Bake on 220 for 3/4 hour
Serve is parsnip mash and broad beans.
