Sauce for Corned Beef - Recipe

  • 1 Dessert Spoon Mustard
  • 1 DS Sugar
  • 1 egg
  • Scant 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup liquid in which beef was boiled cooled

Mix mustard + sugar in small pan. Break egg. Into this mixture + stir well - then add vinegar + beef liquid. Boil together. Stir well.

A mother's Kiwi Recipes
These are the Kiwi recipes - that my mother and her mother - used to whip up... All have one thing in common - they are tested... and bloody good. Yeh - they come from all over the globe - like Kiwi's do. Yes also - expect some imperial measurements as I've transcribed them from a hand written book.
